Outreach Worker- Spirit Lake, IA

PAMHC is seeking a full-time Outreach Worker based in our Spirit Lake Location. Travel required. Position primarily involves performing the duties of a Community Support and HCBS Habilitation worker on an outpatient basis with adults with a serious and persistent mental illness. Position is 40 hours per week Monday through Friday with occasional evening work.

Position Summary

Provide supportive services, skill building, behavioral intervention, and crisis planning services to adults with a serious mental illness while utilizing community support or habilitation services. Services are provided to individuals in their homes and community settings.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Related Field
Experience working with adults with mental illness
Computer skills
Valid driver’s license and insurance

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual a plus, but not required
