Help From an Unexpected Place

Posted December 21, 2020

Spending more time on the phone is not the usual recommendation for people dealing with stress issues. However, there are several apps that can assist you with stress and anxiety. Apps that guide you through meditation can be particularly helpful, although it may take some time and testing to find the one that works best for you. When it comes to dealing with stress, think outside the box. Apps that help you organize your time and projects can be just as effective at relieving stress as those specifically designed to eliminate stressors before they can affect you. There are even apps that have shown to be useful in helping people with PTSD and depression.

Plains Area Mental Health welcomes people of all ages and from all backgrounds. Our professionals collaborate with clients to create a plan which addresses specific needs and goals.
